About Sh. Mu'aawiyah Tucker

Mu'aawiyah Tucker is a respected educator in Islamic law, Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology. With a degree in Islamic law from the Islamic University of Madeenah, he has been teaching Arabic, Islamic studies, and computing since 2006. He has also authored books on Arabic, Quranic reading, Islamic theology, and Fiqh.

With a strong background in computing, Mu'aawiyah entered the Bitcoin space in 2016 and began creating educational videos in 2021 to help Muslims understand Bitcoin from an Islamic perspective. He has participated in Ethereum and Zilliqa smart contracts workshops, authored white papers on decentralized systems, and built multiple businesses that accept Bitcoin payments. He is currently developing a Bitcoin based marketplace using the Nostr protocol along with a peer-to-peer charitable donations project. His mission is to address misconceptions within the Muslim community and highlight how Bitcoin can serve as a useful and innovative tool for the future.
